Im Frühling

Hier lieg’ ich auf dem Frühlingshügel:
Die Wolke wird mein Flügel,
Ein Vogel fliegt mir voraus.
Ach, sag’ mir, alleinzige Liebe,
Wo  d u  bleibst, dass ich bei dir bliebe!
Doch du und die Lüfte, ihr habt kein Haus.

Der Sonnenblume gleich steht mein Gemüte offen,
Sehnend,
Sich dehnend
In Liebe und Hoffen.
Frühling, was bist du gewillt?
Wann werd ich gestillt?

Die Wolke seh ich wandeln und den Fluss,
Es dringt der Sonne goldner Kuss
Mir tief bis ins Geblüt hinein;
Die Augen, wunderbar berauschet,
Tun, als schliefen sie ein,
Nur noch das Ohr dem Ton der Biene lauschet.

Ich denke dies und denke das,
Ich sehne mich, und weiß nicht recht, nach was:
Halb ist es Lust, halb ist es Klage;
Mein Herz, o sage,
Was webst du für Erinnerung
In golden grüner Zweige Dämmerung?
- Alte unnennbare Tage!

Die Dichternarzissen – ich mag sie so gerne.

Unser neuer Sitzplatz – wir haben ihn uns im Winter geschenkt mit Vorfreude auf schöne Abende im Sommer.

Je bunter, je besser. Im Frühling muss ich Farbe im Garten haben. Nach dem Grau des Winters ist das genau das Richtige.

Aber auch das ruhige Grün darf nicht fehlen. Die ersten Hostas sind da.  Da steht auch bald eine Fahrt zu Planwerk am Chiemsee an.

Wir hatten wirklich unglaublich schönes Wetter bis vor ein paar Tagen. Wie schnell gewöhnt man sich an die warmen Sonnenstrahlen. Man vergisst, dass es ja eigentlich erst April ist. Die Tulpen und Osterglocken blühen. Pulmonaria blüht in allen Beeten. Ich habe immer das Gefühl, dass die Gärtnerseele zum Leben erweckt wird. Hat man erst die Erde wieder unter den Fingernägeln gibt es kein zurück mehr. Endlich kann man wieder die abendlichen Rundgänge durch den Garten machen um zu sehen, was uns als als nächstes erfreuen wird.

Der Wichtel genießt auch die Sonne.

We had a beautiful day after a rainy week. My husband took the time to remove two shrubs and planted two others for me. Since we will be off next week he will have time to work on the fall project completing most of the border around the side and the rhododendrons. Since there will be more space to plant more perennials, it will be quite fun to take a day and shop next week.

I enjoyed the time while he was working being busy with the camera. Have fun looking at the pictures. You will find most of the current March pictures in our picture gallery.

Heute hatten wir einen schönen Tag, nachdem es so viel geregnet hatte diese Woche. Mein Mann nutzte die Gelegenheit zwei Sträucher zu entfernen. Da wir nächste Woche frei haben, wird er versuchen sein Herbstprojekt zu beenden – die Randsteine um unser Rhododenrumbeet und auf einer Seite des Gartens weiter zu verlegen.

Ich habe die Zeit genutzt zu fotografieren. Ich hoffe, die Bilder gefallen euch.

I have been thinking about stopping the use of the Blogspot templates for the longest time. Since we do own several domains it was just a question of which content management software to use. WordPress seemed to be the best choice. I was also looking for a way to integrate my old garden home page which I haven’t been taking care of for the longest time since I started blogging. WordPress offered that. That part is under construction though and only in German at the moment. We’ll see how that develops.

Since I have always used my domain and webspace as a file server as well while using Blogspot templates, my husband was able to import via RSS feed almost all of my posts. (You are probably wondering what the heck I am talking about, right?) Unfortunately, he was not able to import all of the comments. I can live with that since there will be new comments and you will continue to visit me.

Stella’s Blog moved completely away from Blogspot and is hosted on our domain now.

I hope I will find more time to blog again now that spring seems to finally come around and provides many of opportunities for new pictures. There is lots of work in the garden ahead for all of us.

By the way, we have also moved our picture gallery . As time allows we will share more and more pictures there.
