I like cranesbills (geranium) a lot. Somehow reading other people’s entries in their blogs got me interested in them about two years ago. What I like about them is that they are very easy to take care of and they come in such a variety. Only one doesn’t seem to like it here in our garden which is Kashmir White.  I added a few more to my collection this year and some are in bloom already. Enjoy!

Ich mag Storchenschnäbel (Geranium).  Durch meine Blogbesuche und Forenbesuche wurde mein Interesse geweckt. Was ich über sie mag ist, dass sie relativ pflegeleicht sind und es so viele verschiedene Sorten gibt. Nur ein Geranium scheint es hier bei uns nicht zu mögen und das ist Kashmir White. Ein paar neue kamen auch dieses Jahr in die Kollektion und haben sogar begonnen zu blühen. Viel Spass!

Ich liebe diese Jahreszeit. Man ist ein paar Tage weg, kommt zurück und wieder ist alles in die Höhe geschossen oder neue Pflanzen zeigen ihre Blüten oder Blattwerk. Ich liebe diese Jahreszeit.

Spätherbst

Schon mischt sich Rot in der Blätter Grün,
Reseden und Astern sind im Verblühn,
Die Trauben geschnitten, der Hafer gemäht,
Der Herbst ist da, das Jahr wird spät.

Und doch (ob Herbst auch) die Sonne glüht, -
Weg drum mit der Schwermut aus deinem Gemüt!
Banne die Sorge, genieße, was frommt,
Eh’ Stille, Schnee und Winter kommt.

Dieser Herbst, der nun zu Ende geht, zeigt uns seine geballte Schönheit dieses Jahr.

Es ist einfach eine Freude, die herrlichen Farben der letzten Blüten zu sehen, ob es nun ein Geranium ist oder die Beeren des Viburnums.

Die Rose Compassion möchte einfach nicht aufhören zu blühen und treibt mit aller Kraft nach oben.

Ich weiss nicht, wie es euch geht, aber ich kann kaum glauben, dass nächsten Monat schon Weihnachten sein soll.

Ich wünsch euch eine schöne Woche.

Late Autumn

This autumn, which is now coming to an end, is really is beautiful this year.

It is simply a joy to see the beautiful colors of the last blossoms whether it is a geranium or the berries of Viburnum.

The Rose Compassion does not want to stop. It continues to bloom and pushes with all its strength to the top.

I do not know how you feel, but I can hardly believe that we will have Christmas next month.

My favorite November picture / Mein Favorit im November

…. not quite yet, but soon it will be time for roses and our gardens will be covered with their scent. Now many columbines, hostas and geraniums are blooming or starting to bloom and I have just been enjoying it the past two weeks.

Visits of friends and family have been keeping me from posting. I simply enjoyed the days it didn’t rain in the garden. I hope you don’t mind. Nevertheless, here are some pictures from the last two weeks. Enjoy! Have a nice week!

Die letzten Wochen und Wochenenden habe ich Besuche von guten Freunden und Familie genossen. Viel Zeit für den Blog blieb da leider nicht. Die regenfreien Tage wurden dann natürlich im Garten verbracht.
